The IEEE Queensland Chapter of the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society was formed on July 24th 2008. This chapter aims to collaborate with industry and academia in the area of engineering sciences and technology in medicine and biology.

Our mission is to enhance all aspects of healthcare through the application of biomedical engineering and related technologies to biomedicine, the sharing of knowledge between engineers, healthcare professionals and healthcare industries, and the promotion of our discipline to students and the broader community.
