Call for Papers and Info on Taipei Conference

It’s a global society in which we live. Nowhere will that be more evident than at the IEEE International Symposium on Product Compliance Engineering-Taiwan (IEEE 2017 ISPCE-TW), December 21 through 22 at the National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei.

Hosted by IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society (PSES) the conference will be the most critical IEEE PSES conference in Asia. IEEE 2017 ISPCE-TW will be the gathering spot for experts from across the globe to present and discuss the latest issues, challenges and trends in product safety and regulatory engineering in the medical, scientific, engineering, industry, commercial and residential market sectors. With a fine-focus on the theory, design, development and practical implementation of product safety engineering methodologies and techniques for equipment and devices, the Symposium will include in-depth presentations by notable authors as well as exhibiting companies.

The Call for Papers and presentations, including speakers, peer-reviewed papers, tutorials and product technology demonstrations, is open with the deadline for submitting a full manuscript July 31 and early submissions encouraged. Targeted conference topics will include: product and equipment safety; training and continuing education; regulations and standards; risk management; workplace product safety; system and software safety; and the human factor in product safety engineering.

Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, is a modern city juxtaposition with Japanese colonial lanes, busy shopping streets and contemporary buildings. Online registration opens November 1 and runs until December 19. The conference will be located on the main campus of the university, with easy access from public transportation.
