In recognition of Dr. Kanako Miura’s contributions to Humanoid Robotics, the Miura Memorial Travel Award was established in 2013 by the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Humanoid Robotics to support woman PhD and MS students entering the field with travel to the IEEE RAS Conference on Humanoid Robotics.
We invite woman researcher to apply for the Miura Memorial Travel Award by submitting their applications for travel support to Humanoids 2014 in Madrid http://www.humanoids2014.org/
Travel support will cover partial reimbursement for conference/workshop registration at an early registration rate, transportation and accommodations. Each awardee will be eligible for up to 1000 EURO, depending on the geographical location of the applicant
