The IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Conference (WIE ILC) Planning Committee announces

the 2015 WIE ILC to be held 23-25 April 2015 in the capital of Silicon Valley, San Jose, CA. With a theme
of Lead Beyond. Accelerating Innovative Women Who Change the World, the conference will be focused
on leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Speakers and groups are encouraged to submit a presentation proposal at http://ieee-wie-ilc.org/speaker-pitch-form/
by 30 September 2014.

Speakers on professional development, leadership, innovation, global business perspectives, entrepreneurship,
career advancement, starting new businesses, and work/life balance are encouraged to submit a proposal by 30 September 2014.

Conference Audience Conference participants include female engineers, technology professionals, managers, executives and academics from around the world. The 2015 WIE-ILC expects 400-500 participants. Please ensure that your content is suitable for a professional, international audience.
Conference Tracks The WIE-ILC focus is leadership development. Topics aligned with the theme of Lead Beyond. Accelerating Innovative Women Who Change the World will be considered for one of the following tracks: Track 1 Inspiration; Track 2 Empowerment; Track 3 Enjoyment; Track 4 (completely virtual track where all presentations are done online only) EngagementDifferent session formats are encouraged. For example, IGNITE panel sessions, Fishbowl brainstorming sessions and standard presentation formats are acceptable.
Proposal Guidelines Please ensure that content is non-commercial, uses moderate number of slides, includes interactive learning and is relevant and clear.Please submit proposals online by 30 September 2014. Proposals should include the following:-Presenter name, full mailing address, phone, and email

-Brief presenter bio (maximum 300 words)

-Name, full mailing address, phone, email, and bio for each co-presenter

-Session description (maximum 250 words)

-Session type (e.g. workshop, panel, interactive)

-Video link to example presentation

-Learning objectives

-Recommended track (e.g., Empowerment, Inspiration, Enjoyment or Virtual/Engagement)
