Bio – Terri-Lynn Duque

Terri-Lynn Duque is the Director of Strategic Innovation at ENMAX Power, ENMAX’s distribution and transmission utility in Calgary. TL and her team have created a platform for innovative ideas and new technology to transform the utility. The team delivers pilot projects, advises on distributed energy resource (DER) integration, and champions new business models to deliver value to ENMAX’s customers. Her most recent accomplishments include being the first demonstration project in Canada to be awarded funding from NRCan’s Smart Grid fund and launching a pilot program to test out a utility role for EV Charging in Alberta. 

Terri-Lynn has been with ENMAX for over 12 years, has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan, a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute and has just recently been named a recipient of a 2019 Young Women in Energy award. When she’s not dreaming about the future of the Alberta electricity sector, she spends her time exploring the Rocky Mountains with her family and dreaming about building a bed and breakfast in the foothills of Bragg Creek.
