Jim has 27 Years in Industry (18 with BC Hydro). He leads a team mandated to prepare BC Hydro’s Strategy and Roadmap to plot out the future power system, and to align with and operationalize the government CleanBC policy as well as the ongoing Government Review. The Strategy and Roadmap must ensure BC Hydro is ready for all that the future brings, to learn to quickly adapt to the changing climate, the evolving energy industry, and the needs of customers pushing the boundaries on policy, regulation, influence legislation, and recognize we may have to do things differently in the future. Along with looking into the future, Jim’s team performs the Asset Management functions for Revenue Metering, Electric Vehicle Charging, Automation, and has oversight of the Meter Shop.
