Chris Chapelsky is the current Senior Manager of System Engineering at EPCOR Distribution and Transmission, Inc. Chris is a professional electrical engineer in Alberta with undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Alberta. Chris has been at EPCOR for 9 years with roles in automation, grid operations, and control systems. He currently leads three teams that manage the core applications which power EDTI’s operations – Geographic Information Systems, an Engineering team focused on grid operations and their real-time ADMS control system, and EPCOR’s Operations Networks and Security Team. This System Operations team in EPCOR is one of the most diverse and specialised in the whole company, with specialties across GIS, drafting, grid operations, cyber security, engineering, SCADA, and more.
