General

• Virtual meetings will be held on the same dates as the originally planned face-to-face meetings, January 12 to 14, 2020 (some WG meetings may start on the 11^th)
• Meetings will have a reduced scope and duration, focusing on essential business
• IEEE WEBEX accounts will be used to conduct the meetings.  Mark Bowman has already distributed the information on obtaining WEBEX accounts to the SC chairs.  If you are a WG chair, and intend to hold a meeting, you should be getting that information from your SC chair.  Meeting access information will be provided prior to the meetings (as needed by SC chairs and WG chairs to their members)
• We are working with the Mystic Hilton to hold our 21-02 meeting there, to honor our commitment to them

NPEC Meeting

• Date: January 14
• Time: 10 am to 2 pm EDT  (This time slot was chosen to accommodate the most people possible across the US time zones and our European colleagues.  We apologize in advance to our colleagues in Asia who are 13 hours ahead of EDT.  This puts this meeting very late at night in your time zone.  Please see the next bullet.
• The meeting will be recorded so that those who cannot attend in person will be able to view the meeting.  An announcement that it will be recorded will be made in advance of the meeting per IEEE policy
• Mark Bowman will be conducting a poll of all NPEC members via iMeet Central asking if you will attend the NPEC meeting.  It is important that we assure that we will have a quorum so that we can conduct business such as approving previewed standards to go to ballot.  I request that all NPEC members please respond to the poll promptly.
• If your SC/WG has a preview or work-in-progress please inform the NPEC Standards Coordinator, Suresh Channarasappa, as soon as possible
• A NPEC meeting agenda will be distributed well before the meeting

ADCOM

• Date:  January 13
• Time:  1 pm to 4 pm EDT
• It was decided to hold the ADCOM meeting at essentially the usual time on the day before the NPEC meeting to avoid interference with other SC/WG meetings
• If your SC/WG intends to have a PAR reviewed and approved please also inform Suresh Channarasappa as soon as possible
• An ADCOM meeting agenda will be distributed well before the meeting

Subcommittees and Working Groups

• All subcommittees that normally meet with NPEC (SCs 3 through 6) have indicated that they intend to hold a virtual meeting;  dates, times and agendas will be established by your SC leadership
• Any or all working groups may meet if there is standards work to be done,  please request your WEBEX access early as it takes a few days for IEEE to get that to you
