The IEEE PES Region 6 has 24 Chapters in the western U.S. and three of these chapters are joint chapters. Recently, two more Chapters were established: Hawaii and Western Montana.

Four chapters in Region 5 were formed or reinstated in 2017! They are Fort Worth – Glen Rose, Dallas, Saint Louis and the Baton Rouge student branch at LSU. Congratulations to them!

Nigeria takes the lead to host the first IEEE African Student and Young Professional Congress (ASYPC 2017). The congress was held 8 –10 September, 2017, at Baze University in the beautiful city of Abuja.

The IEEE Kerala Section PES Chapter organized the 1st All India PES Student Congress’17 to promote the activities and achievements of student branch chapters in the country and also to encourage networking of PES volunteers across the nation.
