I would like to express my sincere gratitude to those involved in the IEEE Power and Energy Society Scholarship program for naming me a recipient of the scholarship this past year.
In December, IEEE BRAC University Student Branch, along with the newly formed PES Student Chapter, held the seminar “Challenges and Opportunities of High Solar PV Penetrations to National Grids” at the GDLN Center.
IEEE PES Region 7 Chapters organized the Second Canadian Grid Modernization Workshop in Nov. 2018 in Ottawa. This is a continuation of the first workshop held in Vancouver in 2017.
The IEEE SB NSSCE in association with PES have provided an opportunity for its members to be a part of the humanitarian project “Lights for the Working Hands”. Our objective was to electrify one of the tribal colonies located in the Palakkad district.
Like many of you and also as part of the responsibility that comes with my work, I need to follow the technological trends in power systems and monitor the transformation that the energy sector is undergoing.
