IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter of Vaagdevi College of Engineering (VCE) initiated a humanitarian activity “Helping Hands – Join hands in helping the needy” on the New Year 2022.

“Alone we can do little, together we can do so much”

As part of the initiative, our volunteers collected old sweaters/blankets, used clothes, and food items from the faculty and students and distributed them in the Orphanage homes in Warangal.

Firstly, We the IEEE PES SBC VCE Volunteers visited to ATITHI ASHRAMAM to contribute our kind of help by providing bags of rice and seasonal clothes. We shared good moments with the handicapped students of the foundation.

After that, we have attended the “MALLIKANBA MANOVIKA KENDRAM” (mentally challenged children). At this place, we distributed sweets and fruits among them as a part of the new year.

Finally, we also met the children of “Hope children’s home”. We dispensed rice bags, books, and some stationaries.

We successfully managed to help the needy people in the name of Helping Hands Activity. Starting the year with the humanitarian act and watching them smile made our day delightful.
