PES Central University of Karnataka SB Chapter, after being formed in 2019, organized more than 25 effective events from different categories throughout the year, 2020 included

IEEE PES Chapter Central University of Karnataka was formed in the year 2019. In its second year, the chapter organized more than 25 events spread throughout the year from different categories including technical, non-technical, social, and humanitarian activities. All the events tended to add new skills and give ideas about new trends to the members associated with the chapter. The student chapter started with around 26 members is expected to cross 50 members by the end of 2021.

The major technical events hosted by the chapter included some wonderful special talks from eminent personalities like Prof. L M Patnaik, Dr. Satheesh Naik B, and Dr. B. Satyanarayana. We had massive participation of 100+ participants in each of the events. We had other workshops including Workshop on GitHub, Meta-Learning, and 3D printing workshops for which also we had above 100 participants.

The chapter has also done one humanitarian activity which was conducted in online mode due to the pandemic. There was a massive variation in participation from different departments of the university. The chapter also had conducted many events as a part of PES Day celebration. Our chapter conducted events to help students to find a good career path and also had provided some sessions to motivate them. The chapter has reached a great level in the year 2020. IEEE PES Central University of Karnataka Chapter looks forward to flourishing more and more in the coming years.
