The All India IEEE Power and Energy Society Student/Young Professionals/WIE Congress is an annual flagship conference hosted in India by IEEE PES. It is a gathering of all its members – both professional and students and the various chapters affiliated to the IEEE Power and Energy Society and its sister societies throughout the nation. The goal of the congress is to create awareness about recent advancements made in power electronics, green energy, control systems, transmission and many power and energy related fields.

The All India PES Student/Young professionals/WIE Congress (AIPESSYWC 2019) was held from 17-19 October, 2019 in Bangalore at Global Academy of Technology. The theme of this year’s congress was “Towards a Greener Future”.

IEEE PES DAY Ambassadors Meeting

The PES DAY Ambassadors Meeting was held on the 17th of October in Global Academy of technology after the keynote sessions in AIPESSYWC 2019. IEEE PES DAY Ambassadors meeting was headed by 2019 PES DAY Chair Prof Hussain Mahdi. PES DAY Ambassadors from India attended the meeting. Great discussions were held on how we can progress the objectives of the IEEE PES DAY globally. This meeting was moderated by Mr. Ankit Dave (IEEE PES Day India council lead) and Mr. Machani Ajay Kumar (PES DAY Ambassadors Lead (R1-10). Also there was a productive discussion with ambassadors to improve the PES Day activities in India.
