Did you know that the IEEE Power & Energy Society publishes a journal designed for practitioners and written by practitioners?

The IEEE Power and Energy Technology Systems Journal (PETS-J) is a peer-reviewed technical journal containing practice-oriented articles. As a fully electronic, open-access journal, the content is available to any and all readers at no cost without subscription. The articles are published online in IEEE Xplore as well as in the IEEE PES Resource Center.

Are you an innovator in the field of power and energy? Do you have practical knowledge, experience, and insights that would benefit other practicing engineers?

If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, I invite you to share that knowledge by submitting an article in our peer-reviewed journal. Publishing can help your career and your organization. We are seeking authors of papers that address practical challenges and solutions in all aspects of power and energy systems from components to systems and from design to operation.

As a contributor, consider the following benefits:

  • Gain recognition for your hard work and innovation
  • Establish yourself as an expert in the field
  • Help others grow in their knowledge
  • Support and promote your organization’s industry leadership
  • Because the journal is open-access, you can gain visibility for your company with a large global audience by sharing direct links to the article

If you are an engineer working in power and energy, you need ready access to practical state-of-the-art insights, techniques and expertise to help you do your job. PETS-J is designed for practitioners and written by practitioners.

Don’t just take my word for it. I invite you to check it out and see for yourself. Here are just a few sample articles that you might find interesting:
