On April 22, a soccer match between the faculty members and the graduate students of the Power Systems Research Group at the University of Saskatchewan was organized to promote work-life balance and team building. This event attracted 15 participants including two professors.

On April 27, a technical seminar on “Real-time thermal ratings of transmission and distribution systems” was organized. The technical seminar was delivered by Dr. Junpeng Zhan, a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan. Around 18 participants attended the seminar.

A cake-cutting ceremony followed the seminar. During this event, the benefits of IEEE and IEEE PES membership were also conveyed to the participants.
