Remember when you share your IEEE Historical selfie to tag @IEEEPESYP #Milestelfie, and tag @IEEEHistory.

Merging History with the Life of a Young Professional

Around the globe, the power and energy industry has dedicated historical sites that hold special meaning to many professionals. You can find a list of 177 IEEE historical sites around the world by visiting http://ethw.org/Milestones:List_of_Milestones.

As part of the contest, IEEE members are challenged to visit as many of these “milestone” historical sites as possible and take a selfie with the site. We are calling it the “Milestelfies” photo contest! Once you get the selfie, you will need to then share it via Twitter and a line about the milestone itself. Be sure to use hashtag #Milestelfie in the tweet and tag @IEEEPESYP. Simple! The contest starts on May 1, 2017 and ends September 15, 2017. For the individual who gets the most “Milestelfies,” the grand prize will be an Apple Watch Series 2 followed by IEEE PES merchandise runner-up prizes.
