The workshop accomplished its main aims:
(i) Young professionals, women engineers and students from Serbia and other Western Balkan countries heard from selected number of speakers about services and facilities that PES offers for their personal and professional development.
(ii) Target groups met, networked, formed personal and professional links.
It can be expected that the pointing to advantages of PES membership and services that the Society could provide, will cause the increase of the number of regular and student PES members, especially because the attendees act as ambassadors for PES in the region. Furthermore, since the workshop was held in conjunction with the major regional conference in power engineering, Medpower, the attendees were able to exchanged ideas and discussed the results of their professional activities with conference delegates working in academia and in electric power industry. It made the number of the people impacted by the workshop very large. Many attendees of the workshop commented that the event was very well organized and useful and that there is a lot of interest for similar events in the future.
