2017 Application – The 2017 Application period will being on March 1 and end on June 30. We will be reaching out to faculty members and students promoting the application period.
PES Scholars in workforce – over 300 of our past recipients of the scholarship are now working full time! The following companies have hired the most PES Scholars.

Yilin (Linda) Zhao –
University of Calgary (John W. Estey Outstanding Scholar – Region 7)
Linda always wanted a career that can utilize her strengths to change the world, and she believes that electrical engineering can help her accomplish that. She decided to study electrical engineering when she made a wind-powered generator using recycled materials for a science competition in high school. The potential of renewables mesmerized her, and she hopes to improve the grid through electrical engineering.

Get Involved – Review PES Scholarship Plus Applications
Do you have a few hours to give back to the industry?
We are looking for knowledgeable people within the industry to review the PES Scholar applications. All committee activity is conducted via teleconference and/or online for the application review process. The applications will be reviewed in July/August of 2017. Depending on the number of reviewers and applications, the amount of time it takes to review the application is 4-6 hours.
