On January 12, 2019, PES approved the new IEEE PES CSAC (Chapters Student Activities Committee).

IEEE PES CSAC goals

• Keep the sustainable growth of PES SB chapters.
• Reactivate PES SB chapters
• Improve the management and mentoring of PES SB chapters in the coming years with high growth in number of PES SB chapters.
• Make PES SB chapter volunteers more activate and engage through new PES initiatives.
• Focus on transition from PES students to PES Young Professionals.
• Training and provide more leadership opportunities to future PES leaders (today PES students) in different levels such as countries, IEEE Regions and global.

IEEE PES CSAC activities

The IEEE PES CSAC activities will be divide into 4 categories:

1) Pre-university activities
2) PES SB chapter programs
3) Transition from PES SB chapters to PES YP members
4) PES CSAC leadership program

IEEE PES CSAC team positions

The IEEE PES CSAC team will have the following positions:

• PES CSAC country representatives
• PES CSAC design team
• PES CSAC translate team
• PES CSAC web team

Call for the IEEE PES CSAC team positions

In the next days, the IEEE PES CSAC team will make call for the following 45 IEEE PES CSAC team positions:

1) PES CSAC web team

• 3 positions

2) PES CSAC design team

• 2 positions

3) PES CSAC translate team

• Spanish language (2 positions)
• Portuguese language (2 positions)
• Arabic (2 positions)
• Mandarin (2 positions)

4) PES CSAC country representatives

PES CSAC team will have one PES CSAC country representatives to each country with more than one PES SB chapter.
