Marissa Mayer first Female Engineer at Google

Wonder what impact a computer scientist can have? Check out Marissa Mayer who is an avid Programmer, Artificial Intelligence (AI) pioneer, and business leader.

Ms. Mayer was born in Wisconsin, United States in 1975. She went on to Stanford University where earned a Masters of Computer Science with a focus on AI.

She was the 20th employee at Google and their first female engineer. Ms. Mayer was involved in many key successes such as Gmail, Google News, and Google Maps. On July 16, 2012 Mayer was appointed President and CEO of Yahoo. On being a “geek” she remarks,
