Experiences

All IEEE Members including Students, Young Professionals and Women in Engineering are provided with many professional development opportunities. Some opportunities receive funding from the NSW section. In 2018 the NSW Section started to collect stories and media about the journeys our members have taken advantage of in the hope they inspire others to get involved and grab opportunities with both hands as they arise. Sharing your story is a condition of receiving funding support.

2019 IEEE ANZSCON, Christchurch

In 2019 a call was made for student, young professional and WIE members to attend ANZSCON an initiative of the Australian and New Zealand Sections. The aim of ANZSCON is to provide leadership and professional development opportunities to rising IEEE stars in Australia and New Zealand. It also provides these members an opportunity to develop a regional connection. A total of 5 members received $700 funding support to attend the congress.
