IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), New South Wales is an affinity group, initiated in 2007 to promote and sustain the presence of women engineers in the universities, industries and institutions at state level in Australia. We thrive together to inspire, engage, encourage, and empower IEEE women in New South Wales, Australia. IEEE NSW WIE provides numerous opportunities for members to network at a local level. NSW WIE affinity group works simultaneously with the NSW IEEE Section and is associated with IEEE WIE.

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is a global network of IEEE members and volunteers dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering and science.
