IEEE-Northern Canada Section, Industry Applications Society/Power Engineering Society joint chapter — Annual General Meeting and Call for Nominations

The IEEE-NCS, IAS/PES joint chapter provides numerous technical seminars and tutorials throughout the year for the electrical engineering community.  Not only does this provide the opportunity to bring in distinguished lecturers in our field to discuss relevant technical topics but it is also a fantastic opportunity to network and socialize with your colleagues.
We are seeking volunteers to join our executive and committees.  Elections will be held during our Annual General Meeting on 19-Feb-14 (Wednesday) from 6 to 7pm at 13 Mission Avenue, St. Albert (White NABI building).  Please send all nominations to our Nominating Committee Chair, Carl Lam at cflam@suncor.com.

There will be elections for all of the following Chapter positions:
– Chair
– Vice-Chair
– Secretary
– Treasurer
-Communications Director

Not interested in joining the executive but still want to help out the chapter, we would love to hear from you as we have numerous requirements for volunteers and can use your support and assistance.
