The family of our colleague , Late Engr. David Tobechukwu Okereafor has released the burial arrangement and is to hold as follows:

  • Wake Keep to hold on Thursday, 25th April, 2019 at St. Donald Catholic Church, Behind EFCC, Karu FHA, Abuja by 6:00pm prompt.
  • Service of Songs to also hold at the family compound at Plot D15, Beside NNPC Filling station , Karu Site , Abuja.
  • Burial:
    On Friday 26th April 2019, his body leaves National Hospital Mortuary at exactly 8:00am while the lying in state commences at exactly 9:00am at his residence Plot D15, Beside NNPC Filling station , Karu Site , Abuja.
  • Funeral Mass starts at 10:00 am same day at St. Donald Catholic Church behind EFCC, Karu Site, FHA Abuja.
  • Interment follows immediately at Gudu Cemetery, Apo Abuja.

May his soul rest eternally with the Lord. Amen.

Brief Biography:

David was an IEEE volunteer since his first year at the university and was the Chair at FUTO Student Branch between 2011 to 2013. Until his demise,  he was IEEE Nigeria Section’s Webmaster and the Secretary of the Robotics and Automation Society in the section. He will be dearly missed.
