Experience what GO BIG really means as you see yourself on the record-breaking 72-foot tall video screen, visit the locker rooms, enjoy lots of great food and drinks, and mingle with other industry professionals on the field!

Shuttle buses will depart from the KBH Convention Center and all official conference hotels starting at 6:15pm and will return to the hotels continuously until 10:00pm.

Tuesday / May 3 : 8:30am – 9:30am, Ballroom A
Going BIG isn’t just about the biggest show in the power industry. It’s a mindset. An attitude. And no one knows that more than this year’s keynote speaker, Emmitt Smith.

As a Hall of Fame NFL player, Emmitt Smith delivered his biggest performances in the biggest moments. Now he’ll do it again as a special guest during our opening session. With three Super Bowl rings and holder of many NFL records that still stand today, Smith remains one of the biggest names ever to take the field.

Even after all his success on the field, Emmitt doesn’t believe his biggest achievements are behind him. He hit the business world running with the same relentless drive he displayed in sold-out stadiums. It’s what has made him a successful entrepreneur and a Dallas legend beyond the game of football.

That same passion for personal growth will help each one of us shape the energy solutions industry for years to come. As someone who continues to inspire every team he’s ever been on, there’s no one better to kick off this year’s conference than Emmitt Smith. This is an event you do not want
to miss.

Wednesday / May 4 : 4:30pm – 6:00pm, Exhibit Hall
Meet and mingle with leading product specialists, experts and industry leaders at the networking reception. This event will occur in the exhibit hall, providing a relaxed atmosphere for you to meet vendors and fellow attendees. Beverages and hors d’oeuvres provided by our sponsors Henkels & McCoy, Inc. and Leidos Engineering, LLC.

Thursday / May 5 : 8:15am – 10:00am
This CEO roundtable will bring senior executives to discuss the timely and important topic of the Distribution System Operator (DSO), address the associated questions and explore the related issues, especially in the context of ongoing planning for DSO pilot projects and implementation. The DSO is a topic of great discussion in some states today and the related Distribution System Platform Provider is seen by some as a vehicle for stimulating the deployment of Distributed Energy Resources by customers and third parties in ways that are beneficial to the grid overall. Wholesale market operators and utilities responsible for system reliability and overall market performance might prefer to see that local market models follow established wholesale product and service definitions and rules for ease of integration and comfort with overall behavior, which will be further discussed in this panel. The panel represents utility and ISO perspectives, as well as regulatory viewpoints.

Thursday / May 5 : 2:30pm – 4:00pm, C1 Ballroom
Join us as we celebrate the success of our 2016 Conference and Exposition in Dallas and begin looking forward to Denver in 2018. You don’t want to miss this exciting closing reception, where you’ll be encouraged to drop your badge in the raffle for a chance to win great prizes!
