In conjunction with NATIONAL ENGINEERS WEEK, The Future City Competition was held for the South Florida Region on January 19th 2013.The Future City Competition was conducted for the Middle Grade Students with the assistance of an Educator,Mentor to design a future city with Sim City 4 Deluxe software and then build three-dimensional table top model to scale.
Many number of schools Participated in the event and Judging of the Models was done from 8.00 AM -3.00 PM with many number of Judges who were divided among teams and judged the Models.The winner was the school st.Thomas the Apostle.The Regional winners advance to the Future City Competition National Finals in Washington, DC from February 15–20, 2013.Here are some Pictures from the Competition.
