Dr. Reilly will describe updates on popular software engineering standards and information on related standards for content management and life-cycle information for software projects. With the recent publication of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015, Systems life cycle processes, changes are coming in ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207, Software life cycle processes, and in ISO/IEC/IEEE 15289, Content of life cycle information items.

IEEE Standards Association Meeting

Memphis is host to a working group meeting of the US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for Software and Systems Engineering (SC7). The US TAG for SC7 covers a wide range of standards for systems, software, and services engineering, including life cycle processes, IT asset management, software testing, software and systems architecture, usability, documentation, software quality, product line engineering, very small enterprises, and certification.

Meetings will be held on the University of Memphis campus March 8-10. IEEE members are welcome to attend. Contact Laney Strange at for more information.
