The IEEE Control Systems Society Lebanon Section Joint Chapter won the 2017 Outstanding Chapter Award in recognition of its continuous effort in promoting technical events highly focused on Control Systems during 2016. The award was presented during the Control Systems Society Awards Ceremony at the 2017 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control that took place in Melbourne, Australia on December 13, 2017. The award included $1,000 payable to the Chapter, a certificate laminated on a plaque, and travel expenses to the Conference for a Chapter representative.
