IEEE EMBS Chapter Chair
Dr. Hisham ElMoaqet received the Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, in 2015. He was also a Research Fellow Affiliated with the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Anesthesiology in the University of Michigan from 2015 to 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor and the Chairman of the Mechatronics Engineering Department at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in Amman, Jordan. His research interests include Physiological Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0, and Control. He was elevated to the grade or IEEE Senior Member in April 2022. He currently serves as the Chairman of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Technical Society Chapter in the IEEE Jordan Section, and the Counselor of the IEEE Student Branch in GJU.
