The BRACCO Foundation has a long tradition in supporting women pursuing their ambitions in STEM careers. Metrology is a scientific domain which encompasses a variety of applications and fields. Metrology plays a fundamental role in archeology and cultural heritage, providing the knowledge needed to plan conservation and restoration interventions.   

The 2021 IEEE International Conference on Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, METROARCHEO2021, will be held in Milan on October 20-22, 2021.

The BRACCO Foundation, jointly with the IEEE WIE AG Italy Section, launches the nomination for five Women Participation Grants reserved to young women aiming to participate in the METROARCHEO 2021, covering the conference registration fee for authors.

The candidate meets the following requirements:

  • is a woman
  • is less than 35 years old and less than 6 years from the achievement of the 1st PhD title
  • has a paper accepted at METROARCHEO 2021

The interested applicant is encouraged to send her recent CV and the number of her accepted paper to info@metroarcheo.com. The Grants will be assigned based solely on the excellence and scientific quality of the applicant.
