Call for Posters/Demos

The Fourth Annual IEEE International Smart Cities Conference (ISC2-2018) is the flagship conference sponsored by the IEEE Smart Cities Initiative. As a world-class conference, ISC2-2018 brings together scholars, citizens, policymakers, administrators, infrastructure operators, industry representatives, economists, sociologists and academicians in the field of smart cities. Technical exchanges within the research community will encompass panel discussions, plenary talks, technical sessions, tutorials, and exhibitions.

Poster/Demo Session will provide an opportunity for presenters to showcase their work in an informal and interactive setting, and to obtain valuable feedback on ongoing research from a knowledgeable crowd at the conference.

Poster/Demo Abstract Submission

Technical posters and demonstrations on a clear and focused topic relevant to the Conference scope are encouraged. The Abstracts of accepted posters/demos will be included in the ISC2-2018 Proceedings. Accepted and presented abstracts will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®. All submissions must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication. The paper should explain the significance and the originality of the technical contribution and contain a proper list of key references.

Each submission should be formatted as an extended abstract, describing the research to be presented in the poster/demo. All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of TWO printed pages (10-point font), including all figures and references. Authors must follow the standard IEEE two-column conference format. The extended abstract must include the names, affiliations and email addresses of all authors and should be submitted as a single PDF file at EDAS. Authors may use one of the following templates for Latex or Microsoft Word: A4, US letter. Standard IEEE conference templates for Latex and Microsoft Word are found at: IEEE-Manuscript Templates .
