Dear Colleagues —

I am among several IEEE IAS members who cannot be in two places this week — Long Beach (IEEE IAS/PES JTC) and Redondo Beach (2026 National Electrical Code Second Draft meetings).   However, I am happy to report modest, though meaningful code “wins” for the user-interest in the NFPA catalog this cycle.  We are also making inroads into the ASHRAE and ICC catalog in service of electrical safety.

Now that the end of the 2026 NEC revision cycle is complete I hope we can focus on getting papers and published summarizing our code wins and helping Bob Arno with update of the Gold Book
