Michael Coole, AUSTRALIA
Michael Coole is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. He has over 30 years’ experience in the security, crime prevention and emergency management fields, having worked in the Australian Defence Force, Western Australia’s Department of Justice and as a private consultant. Michael has recently become a member of the ICCST Executive Committee from 2021.
In his current role Michael is the Course Coordinator for Security Sciences, and researches and teaches across the broad spectrum of security and crime prevention problem domains, with a focus on the use of technologies across the detection, observe, control and respond categories along with defeat evaluation practices.
