Carnahan Cup Golf Tournament
When: Monday, October 24. It will be held at the Orange County National Golf Center, 16301 Phil Ritson Way, Winter Garden, Florida. We will play the “Crooked Cat” course. Group Rates: Greens fees of $69 includes electric cart and unlimited practice range balls. Bring your golf clubs or rent clubs for $49. First tee time is at 9:18am. All fees paid at the course pro shop and credit cards are accepted. Lunch will be at the clubhouse, and there are fixed menu options for $12, or order ala carte. The Carnahan Cup was won by Dr. Bill Claycomb, and the Women’s Cup was won, once again, by Ms. Marilli Bilbao of Madrid, Spain.
Accompanying Persons Program
On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 25 & 26, there will be fun activities planned and coordinated for individuals not attending the technical sessions. Depending upon the level of participation, specific arrangements for transportation will be determined later. The costs associated with these activities will be shared by the participants. Plans may change depending on participation.
Tuesday a visit is planned to Winter Park, Florida. The activities there include a one-hour scenic boat ride on several connected lakes, lunch downtown at Park Place, and a tour of Leu Gardens. (The approximate cost for Tuesday is $40 [including lunch] + possible share of transportation cost).
On Wednesday, options are being considered, and include outlet stores shopping.
Discount tickets to major Orlando tourist attractions are available, including the theme parks.
