The persentation details the most essential elements of teamwork necessary for teams to be optimally successful, focusing on how team members think about their team processes.

The presentation is based on multi discipline reserch effort by UAH and industry professionals, the presentation is based on data collected over 10 years on teamwork research, particularly as this applies to technical teams. 

As technology is used to support team-based activities, one important factor affecting the performance of teams is the kind of mental model shared between team members. This presentation describes a novel  methodology to study these mental models to better understand how shared mental models affect performance and other factors of a team’s behavior.
