This months IEEE HOU Section Meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2016 will present Mr. Freddie Wong.

If you ever wondered about the IEEE HOU Section STEM TISP program, this is your opportunity to hear from one of our longest serving facilitators Mr. Freddie Wong. The goal of the program is to partner with the different school districts in the greater Houston area to set up their own in­service workshops to utilize this valuable resource offered by IEEE. At the same time, we are trying to train a pool of volunteer of practicing engineers to go into our partner school districts to implement this program.

Our Mission is to provide pre­university Teacher In­Service Programs, and general support to help improve interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, also encourage careers in these (STEM) fields.

The IEEE – Houston Section’s TISP program is an approved Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Provider for the State of Texas. The Continuing Professional Education Provider number (CPE#) for IEEE – Houston Section (Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers) is #501320.
