Brief Biography:

I hold a B.Sc. in Physics from Athens University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Sussex University, UK. I have a 35+ years working experience in Information Technology, exclusively for the Maritime Sector, mainly in Greece but also in the UK. I had been I.T. Manager in a major shipping company and I had also founded a dot.com service for online chartering of vessels. I am also the founder of AMMITEC, the Association of I.T. Managers of Shipping companies. Since the past 15+ years I am a senior executive of one of the largest maritime software houses world-wide. I am responsible for the global sales and customer support of our clients. I manage a team of 100+ consultants, programmers and salespeople. I am also an active participant in several volunteer organizations, mentoring young people on how to start and progress their careers.
