Welcome to the IEEE Finland section

IEEE Finland Section comprises over 1000 members within six technical chapters.

We serve our members by involving them into worldwide technical activities and help them in their professional career.

IEEE members who live in Finland, you are automatically a member of the Finnish Section, allowing them to share technical, professional, and personal interests with others in the IEEE’s worldwide member community. The Section is part of Region 8, which covers Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Finnish Section consists of 6 Technical Chapters, and one Young Professionals Affinity Group.

The Finnish Section’s main task is coordination and support for activities organized to ensure quality member opportunities for continuous engagement and to advance technology to humanity. Besides, the Finnish Section supports students and young professionals activates as well as IEEE conferences organized in Finland.
