Student Paper Contests and Conference Certifications

The IEEE EdSocSAC helps you in organizing Student Paper Contests(SPC) and certifying the winners of SPC with a IEEE EdSoc Certification and plaque (on request and availability). The EdSocSAC engages from the initial review phase to the final award decision, based on location an SAC Execom member can also attend the conference and judge the presentations. The extended versions of the best papers in the SPC are published/ priority reviewed in IEEE ITEE or other journals/transactions of the EdSoc.

Further, IEEE EdSocSAC can technically co-sponsor Student Activities in your conference. You need to submit a detailed proposal for the same, which needs to be approved by the EdSocSAC Execom and concerned contact in the IEEE EdSoc.

Distinguished Lecture Program (DLP)

The SAC compliments in organizing the DLP on behalf of the EdSoc and bringing the benefits to the student member community. If you are a Student volunteer or part of a EdSoc Student Chapter and would like to invite a distinguished speaker to your campus to speak on a topic relevant to IEEE EdSoc, you can seek the assistance of SAC in inviting the speaker and partially covering the cost of hosting the invitee. Please note, IEEE EdSoc provides only matching funds to cover partial expenses, your university or external sponsors must contribute partially to enable the EdSoc to extend support.
