Student Branch Competition
The IEEE Student Branch who has the most students in attendance at IEEE devDay will be awarded a cash prize for use in their student branch programming efforts. For a student branch to qualify, they must email Moriah Hargrove Anders, IEEE Houston Young Professionals Chair, at moriah.s.hargrove.anders@ieee.org declaring their intent to compete and electing a representative to receive the prize on behalf of the student branch.
Rules:
- For students to count towards the student branch totals, the students must declare the student branch they are representing at the time of conference registration.
- For students to count towards the student branch totals, the students must attend IEEE devDay for the actual event.
- For a student branch to qualify, they must email Moriah Hargrove Anders, IEEE Houston Young Professionals Chair, at moriah.s.hargrove.anders@ieee.org declaring their intent to compete and electing an email address to receive the prize on behalf of the student branch (since any prize will be electronically transferred to the student branch).
Attendee Competition
The attendee who refers the most people to register and attend IEEE devDay will have their registration refunded on the day of the event.
Rules:
- Attendee trying to win the attendee competition must be an IEEE National Member to be eligible for registration refund.
- In order for the referral to count, the referral must register for the conference and must list the attendee in the appropriate spot on the attendee registration form.
- Attendee and referrals must attend IEEE devDay for the actual event in order to qualify.
