#WIE5280 Members and supporters-

#WIE need your support for the local IEEE affiliate K-12 team’s  5th annual “Build Something Cool” event on Saturday February 23rd at the Downtown Auraria Campus in Denver. In past events, over 80 kids built an electronics project of their own and got to talk to real life engineers. See past photos here!  #WIE need volunteers to help teach soldering and help with some cool sewing of smart fabric kits.

This is a FREE event  for grades 6 to 12 thanks to the support of our sponsors-  Participating Kids 6-12 receive electronics kits of their choice, the required tools, guidance on how to build it, and lunch for everyone! Kids even get to keep what they build!

This year the IEEE also have an added “experimental” kit selection to add more Art to STEAM projects.
