Co-Chairs: Nicholas Kovach nicholas.kovach@ieee.org and Aaron Jones, aaron.jones.41@us.af.mil
APS/MTT/GRS: Antennas & Propogation Society, Microwave Theory & Techniques Society and Geoscience & Remote Sensing Society
Chair: Dr. Andrew J. Terzuoli 937-255-3636 x 4717 a.j.terzuoli@ieee.org
This joint group hosts “inverse conferences” for students to present their ongoing research to the local tech community as non-experts. This is an opportunity, not a requirement or burden. The goal is to gain broad professional input and reaction to create better products and better formal academic and conference presentations. The suggested “inverse conference” outline is:
- Problem or challenge
- Past work uncovered
- Approach or methodology
- Results and conclusion
- Current understanding
- Future research objectives
- Request for help and call for input, wisdom, insight.
This is an invitation students who wish to take advantage of this forum. Students can conduct an “inverse conference” at any location, date, and time. Students should send an email to a.j.terzuoli@ieee.org with an abstract and biography, along with desired scheduling parameters. An announcement will be made as information is available. Pass the word!

Young Professionals & Women in Engineering (YP-WIE) Joint Chapter
Co-Chairs:
- Brooke Hayden: Brooke.Hayden.2010@ieee.org (937)684-1807
- Laynce Yoder, ldyoder@ieee.org
This Chapter was founded in 2015 to bring new and enhanced opportunities for networking, professional development, career enhancement and much more to these 2 critical groups within IEEE and the Dayton Section membership. Young Professionals (YP, formerly GOLD) are IEEE members within 15 years of their first technical degree. Women in Engineering (WIE) is an affinity group within IEEE that anyone can join (including men!) who are passionate about inspiring and empowering women as leaders in engineering and technology.
