Dallas-EMBS is the winner of “2013 IEEE EMBS Outstanding Chapter“, one out of 200 chapters world wide.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (IEEE-EMBS), Dallas Chapter is a professional organization for engineers and engineering students who are interested in the bio-medical field. We have over 200 local EMBS members and hold regualr meetings.
Our mission is to provide an open forum for engineers, physicians, researchers, and healthcare policy makers to encourage innovation, continuous education, career development, and collaboration through networking, discussion and sharing cutting-edge technology.
During our monthly speaker seminars and IEEE Distinguished Lectures, we invite renowned experts, both local and out of Texas, to present topics in bio-medical areas that have a broad interest for members.
Interested IEEE members are invited to become active in Dallas EMBS. All interested members of the public are welcome to attend our meetings.
