Abstract:

Hightower is a Subject Matter Expert on Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs). Over 80 percent of IoT devices will need less than 3 megabytes of data per month. LPWANs are a perfect solution for enabling these low throughput wireless networks. Hightower will give an overview and an update on five examples of the many technologies and approaches being considered.
