Abstract: This month’s talk is from members of the Small Cell Forum. Their presentations will present the key aspects of the 5G nFAPI specification and its role in enabling disaggregated small cells.

Bios:
Ganesh Shenbagaraman is Vice President at Radisys, and heads integrated product development and ecosystem partnership. He represents Radisys in various Open RAN Forums. He is a co-chair of O-RAN working group for base station software reference design and a member of technical oversight committee in O-RAN open source community. In Small Cell Forum, Ganesh has been leading 5G nFAPI specification development.
Andrei Radulescu is a Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm in San Diego. He is currently involved in R&D activities for disaggregated RAN, small cells and unlicensed access for cellular technologies, with long term standardization experience in various 3GPP RAN groups and other 3GPP-related groups. In the Small Cell Forum, Andrei is rapporteur for the 5G FAPI PHY specification, and also actively participates in 5G nFAPI development.
