Topic:     Cybersecurity – How Did We Get Here?

Program Description:  We will take a brief look together at the history of cyber threats, identify the types and motivations of cyber criminals, the methods and tools they employ, and discuss the simple, practical steps we can take to hinder their efforts.

BIO:  Mark Skaggs has been in the Information Technology field for over 30 years. He is currently serving as the Manager of IT Services for the Upper Trinity Regional Water District. He is responsible for designing, maintaining, and providing high-availability network services over a 25-mile radius, with multiple water and wastewater treatment plants. He is also responsible for securing their network through technology, education, and policies.

Mark lives in Ponder, Texas with my wife of 20 years. He is a musician in his spare time and enjoy sports and traveling.
