IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine

The IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine is a quarterly magazine published by the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS). VTS members receive a quarterly free copy of the magazine as part of their subscription. The magazine covers the three main areas of interest of VTS: mobile radio and applications, automotive electronics and transportation systems. Together with original technical papers, the magazine features editorial columns describing the latest news and developments in mobile radio, automotive electronics, transportation systems, standards, educational activities and Society news. With the launch of the IEEE Connected Vehicle Initiative, and to reinforce the leading technical role of VTS in connected vehicles, the magazine includes from 2015 a senior editor in connected vehicles and a regular column reporting on developments in this field. The magazine has also established itself as a reference IEEE publication for technical papers in the area of connected vehicles.

The IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine is a Q1 (first quartile) publication in the Journal Citation Reports with an impact factor of 2.783. The magazine welcomes original application, tutorial or survey-style papers describing new breakthrough ideas and technologies in connected vehicles, mobile radio, automotive electronics and transportation systems. You can find instructions for paper submission and templates in VTM website.
