15 attended this Friday afternoon tour of The Ohio State University Nuclear Reactor Laboratory (https://reactor.osu.edu/).

In 2016, 19.7% of the nation’s electricity came from nuclear power. However, only 3% of IEEE Columbus members have ever toured a reactor facility (Okay, we made up that second statistic, but let’s increase the numbers anyway!). Join the Columbus Power and Energy Society as we tour The Ohio State University’s Nuclear Reactor Laboratory. Participants will enjoy an introductory nuclear energy presentation and several demonstrations of running the reactor with fellow PES members. Due to space constraints, the event is capped at 20 participants—RSVP to reserve your spot today!
