On June 24th, PES Columbus Chapter hosted a webinar presented by Prof. Saifur Rahman from Virginia Tech, the Past PES President 2018-2019. Prof. Rahman presented the roles of smart grids in facilitating the integration of renewables. A number of good questions were asked by the audience and answered in detail by Prof. Rahman. This new type of event (online webinars) has been proven very efficient and more webinars will come in the near future.
