Title: Morals and Morsels with Conrad Robinson: an IEEE Columbus/PES Joint Event
This seminar will be given by Conrad Robinson, who is an adjunct professor at Columbus State Community College and The Ohio State University. 1.0 hour of CPD credit will be provided to attendees as needed.
Abstract: How does the political and cultural climate of the country affect our daily decisions as engineers? In a workplace overcast by federal regulations, state laws, industry codes, and corporate policies, what is the responsibility of the front line employee in owning the products that flow from their desk? And why should we care? Join the Columbus IEEE Section and the Columbus Power and Energy Society as we snack on appetizers from local area restaurants and apply the NSPE code of Ethics to the everyday decisions of a 21st century engineer.
